Obiecano nam rzeczy wielkie – szczęśliwe zakończenia, rodziców, którzy nigdy nie odchodzą, miłości, które trwają nieskazitelnie, matki, które nigdy nie wyjeżdżają. Wierzyliśmy w nie będąc dziećmi. A potem dorastaliśmy, szukając tego, co zagubione – śladów obietnic, które zostały rozrzucone jak prochy na Morzu Śródziemnym. W Italii odnaleźliśmy odbicia naszych pragnień – rozproszone kawałki tożsamości, porzucone sny i nowe światy, które stają się domem. W nieregularnych kształtach brązowego szkła pochodzącego z rozbitych butelek Birry Moretti odbijają się nasze portrety, a w słowach codziennych rytuałów odnajdujemy sens istnienia. Krążąc między jawą a snem, czytamy wciąż tę samą księgę, próbując pogłębić naszą wiedzę istotną. Czy to spełnienie, czy tylko iluzja? Zapraszamy do wspólnej podróży – w poszukiwaniu własnej ziemi obiecanej. 

 Each of us makes our own story, but together we create a bigger one one – a picture of Italy woven from personal experiences, memories and longings. We were promised great things – happy endings, parents who never leave, pure love that lasts, mothers who never go away. We believed in them when we were children. And then we grew up looking for what was lost – traces of promises that were scattered like ashes in the Mediterranean. In Italy we found reflections of our desires – scattered pieces of identity, abandoned dreams and new worlds that become home. In the irregular shapes of green glass from broken Birra Moretti bottles, our portraits are reflected, and in the words of daily rituals we find the meaning of existence. Circling between waking and dreaming, we read the same book again and again, trying to deepen our essential knowledge. Is this fulfillment or just an illusion? We invite you to join us on this journey – in search of our own promised land.
